This is very cool feature - to be able to allow your users to maximize videos to full screen without leaving your site.
This is possible among other cool features - check out this tool: http://www.vtubetools.com/
It would be very useful if you could implement this option.

With the new APIs supporting fullscreen I think this should be raised in the priority. I'm getting numerous requests "why doesn't your player have the button or feature" to display full screen.

A patch against DRUPAL-6--1-0-ALPHA4 is attached. I haven't tested it with swfobject_api, so if someone is using that combination feedback would be appreciated. But it does seem to work nicely with regular emvideo fields.

Thank you so much for taking the time to patch it, I'll take a stab at the google video version hopefully within the next 30 days here based on your patch, my site has a slightly higher google video to youtube ratio :(

If you are interested in vtubetools I think you will like viewbix.com. They allow you to embed custom apps in your video such as:
- Mailing list sign up
- Picture Album
-Social/RSS Feed
and over 20 other great apps!
